Mrs. Pickel's Profile!
Name: Andrea Pickel
Birthday: November 16th
Hometown: Scales Mound - I was born and raised on a farm outside of Scales Mound. I graduated from Scales Mound School in 1996.
College: I received my Associates Degree from Highland Community College and my Elementary Education and Masters Degrees from UW Platteville
Family: I am married to Pic (Larry) Pickel and we live on a farm outside of Scales Mound. We have two great kids, a boy named Keaton who is nine, and in 4th grade, and a girl named Garrett who is in 2nd grade. In the summer time we love to ride horses, camp, and swim. We are also involved in 4-H and Little Britches Rodeo. In the winter we like to ski and sleigh ride. The kids especially love it when we pull the sleds with the horses. There is never a dull moment at our house! In my free time I also like to read and watch movies.
Job: Being a Hornet and teaching at Scales Mound is the best job anyone could ever ask for. Before teaching in Scales Mound I taught preschool and substitute taught. I enjoyed all of the grades, but teaching 4th grade is by far my favorite.
